Florida Aquarium shark recovers from surgery

A 4-foot-long white tip shark at the Florida Aquarium that underwent surgery last year to remove a foreign object trapped in its throat has made a remarkable recovery and ate its first meal Thursday. The surgery, a mix of state-of-the-art machinery and traditional veterinary procedures, reportedly was a first for the aquarium.
