Survey shows increased HIT usage among health care professionals

A Knowledge Networks survey found that 50% of primary care providers and 52% of medical specialists are using electronic health records and that a majority from both groups use smartphones. "These trends seem destined to magnify as health care reform takes effect, creating dramatic upswings in doctors' case loads," a Knowledge Networks official said.
