Bids for Maxim are a fraction of last sale price as advertisers exit

Maxim magazine, which along with two sister titles sold for $250 million six years ago, is attracting bids at less than a tenth of that price. Maxim's publisher, Alpha Media Group, is expected to lose as much as $5 million this year as advertisers switch their attention to digital media.
