Japanese mobile applications developer United is considering offering additional languages to boost downloads of its home-screen customization application CocoPPa, Naoko Fujimura writes. Now available in English, Japanese, Chinese and Korean, the company said it is leaning toward Portuguese and Spanish editions. Aimed at young females, the app has been downloaded 10 million times. The company is contemplating monetization efforts, and has been researching YouTube's success, in an effort to boost downloads to 30 million by March 2014.
