Consortium to fund Kan. wind project with $260M

Enel Green Power has struck a deal with a J.P. Morgan-led consortium that agreed to fund its Kansas wind project with almost $260 million, the Italy-based renewable-energy developer announced Tuesday. The funds will be released in the fourth quarter. The Buffalo Dunes Wind Project is expected to produce 250 megawatts of energy.
