Copyright agreement could improve access to books

A June 27 agreement of the World Intellectual Property Organization will allow more copyrighted material, such as books and scientific journals, to be converted into accessible formats for individuals with disabilities. Organizations, such as the National Federation of the Blind, also could share texts that are already converted to accessible formats to users in other countries.
