Cupcake maker hopes to break depression with gray snacks

Miss Cakehead owner and cupcake baker Emma Thomas is hoping her new gray cupcakes can help ease depression. She's urging volunteers around the world to create pop-up bakeries called The Depressed Bake Shop on Aug. 2-4 to offer cupcakes dyed an unappealing gray. When someone bites into the cupcake, they'll find bright colors. The colors, Thomas says, represents a symbol of hope for those living with depression.
