Drop in collections at JPMorgan could be a sign for other banks

JPMorgan Chase is taking a double hit on credit card collections: It expects an enforcement action from the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and its revamped collections procedures are netting less revenue. The bank's situation could be a harbinger for other big banks as more scrutiny is placed on debt-collection practices.
