Fla. county commission authorizes tax breaks for Amazon

Polk County, Fla., commissioners have unanimously approved a proposal to offer $4.5 million in tax incentives to encourage Amazon to open a fulfillment center in Lakeland and create 100 high-paying jobs. The move follows Hillsborough County's approval of $6.4 million in tax breaks if Amazon opens a facility in Ruskin.
