Governor signs telemedicine bill in Mo.

A measure that could increase access to specialist care for rural patients has been signed into law by Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon. The law mandates coverage of telemedicine for care that would be covered if performed in person, and higher copayments and charges are forbidden for remote care.
