Instagram video powers sparkle-themed contest for Swarovski

Swarovski is looking to generate buzz through an Instagram contest asking fans to submit video of sparkling objects reflecting light using the hashtag #InstaSparkle for a chance to win Swarovski Nirvana Jewelry. The contest generated 4,000 images on the first day. "All the talk lately about Instagram's new video capabilities coupled with the inherent peer-to-peer sharing of the platform is bound to pay off for Swarovski in terms of interest in the campaign," said ShopIgniter Marketing Manager Kelly Cooper.
