New products make micro-gardening easier

A new garden tool called Nourishmat hopes to take the guesswork out of gardening for city dwellers who want to grow herbs and vegetables in small yards, balconies or rooftops. The mat, which is placed on top of a soil bed, contains seeds and weed-fighting ingredients and is designed to grow $200 worth of produce in one season.
