N.Y. AG reportedly extends data investigation

New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman reportedly is expanding his investigation of Thomson Reuters' practice of allowing certain clients earlier access to information into an industrywide examination of unfair practices and disparities in timing, a source says. The investigation "will follow all logical leads beyond Thomson Reuters," the source said. Thomson Reuters has suspended its practice amid pressure from Schneiderman.
