Report reveals important EHR adoption trends in 2012

A report released from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Harvard School of Public Health and Mathematica Policy Research highlights 2012 trends in EHR adoption. The proportion of hospitals with a basic EHR system increased from 17% in 2011 to 44% in 2012. As of last year, 42% of hospitals met all 14 core functionalities of the initial stage of achieving meaningful use.
