Researchers develop boron-doped diamond coating for chips

Researchers at Advanced Diamond Technologies of Romeoville, Ill., and Argonne National Laboratory report they have developed a low-temperature method of making boron-doped diamond thin films that could be used to produce biosensors, optical/photonic devices and other semiconductors. "The lower the deposition temperature, the larger number of electronic device applications we can enable," ADT's Hongjun Zeng said.
