Survey: Support for separate CEO, chairman roles is at 52%

The idea of separate CEO and board chairman roles was favored by 52% of respondents to an FPL Advisory Group survey, a slight drop from 54% in 2012. Those who disagreed with separating the roles, however, accounted for 12% of respondents, down from 22% last year. The survey involved chief executives, directors and board governance committee chairs in real estate investment trusts and other sectors.
