U.S. consumer borrowing increased $19.6B in May

Consumer installment credit rose $19.6 billion in May, to $2.8 trillion, the biggest increase in a year, the Federal Reserve said. Consumer debt increased for revolving credit facilities, such as credit cards, and nonrevolving debt, which includes loans for college tuition and cars.
