Google may face scrutiny over apps open to children

Google may be next after the U.S. Federal Trade Commission settled with Apple over the issue of mobile applications that allow children to run up big bills that their parents are obligated to pay. The issue centers on Android phone owners who entered a password and left the phone to find later that a child had used the opportunity to accumulate charges.
