BBDO named lead agency for AT&T

AT&T, the second-largest advertiser in the U.S., has named Omnicom Group's BBDO, New York, as lead agency on its estimated $3.345 billion account. BBDO handled the Cingular Wireless account before the company's merger with AT&T. GSD&M, Austin, Texas, which had been AT&T's lead consumer and branding agency before the merger, will remain on the roster.
