Nielsen to focus on time spent on Web pages

Nielsen//NetRatings is expected to announce plans to stop ranking page views and instead focus on how long visitors spend on Web sites. Page views are increasingly regarded as a clumsy way of measuring a Web user's level of engagement with content.
