Coke sales a bellwether in Africa

In Africa, the ubiquitous Coke bottle's low price -- and Coca-Cola Co.'s close watch on sales -- makes it a good indicator of stability, with sales going down when violence breaks out and up in more prosperous, stable times. If that link holds true, things look good for Africa's future -- and Coca-Cola's as well.
