Physically active adults have reduced cancer risks

A Japanese study of 80,000 men and women ages 45 to 74 found that physically active men had a 13% reduced risk of developing cancer -- and active women a 16% reduced risk -- when compared to sedentary adults. The data showed the trend to be especially prevalent for colon, liver and pancreas cancer risks in men and for stomach cancer in women.
