Architect embraces challenges in design of Dublin bridge

A 131-foot bridge in Dublin, Ireland, designed by Amanda Levete Architects flows effortlessly from one side of the Royal Canal to the other. Specifications restricted the bridge's design and required it to be nearly as wide as it is long. Levete noted that she overcame the challenges by using a design that resembles a sculpture and "celebrates concrete as a material."
