Fast Retailing boosts profit forecast for third time

Japan's Fast Retailing, which operates the clothing chain Uniqlo, has seen an increase in spending on its skirts, bra tops, T-shirts and other casual-clothing items, prompting the company to increase its full-year profit forecast. "Fast Retailing is shining in this economic environment," said Koichi Ogawa, chief portfolio manager at Tokyo-based Daiwa SB Investments.
