Obesity prevalent among severely ill swine flu patients

Doctors have recognized that many severely ill swine flu patients are obese and said people with a BMI over 40 can suffer from respiratory complications that are difficult to treat and can be fatal. The evidence is still anecdotal, but Roche is examining studies to see if heavier people should get larger doses of its flu drug Tamiflu.
