Uganda rapidly losing forest cover

Uganda's forest cover is rapidly falling to deforestation and might disappear completely in as little as five decades if immediate efforts are not made to reverse the trend, Xavier Mugumya of the National Forest Authority predicts. Mugumya is calling for a concerted effort by individuals and the government with help from rich countries to protect Uganda's remaining biodiversity.
