Hotel brands offer services for Chinese travelers

Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and Hilton Worldwide are rolling out amenities and services around the world this summer that cater to Chinese travelers, who represent an increasing segment of the travel market. Starwood's new program "Starwood Personalized Travel" will require all of its 1,051 hotels to offer services such as in-room tea kettles, new menu items and translation services. Hilton is launching a program called "Hilton Huanying" for its Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand that includes having a front desk worker who speaks Mandarin, a Chinese television channel and the option of ordering a Chinese breakfast.
