AT&T gives heads-up on "what's next"

Analysts believe AT&T is gearing up to discuss its launch of LTE-Advanced network technology at a planned July 16 news conference, after the carrier teased the event by sending a "What's Next in Wireless" invitation to the media. Analysts believe that AT&T this year may begin introducing LTE-Advanced service, which is expected to double the Long-Term Evolution network download speeds, with a wider rollout planned for next year. AT&T is not discussing the invitation or its rollout plans.
