Baum will take FMI role aimed at industry collaboration

Food industry veteran Mark Baum will become FMI's senior vice president of industry relations and chief collaboration officer at month's end, the group says. The newly created position will focus on improving efficiency in the food-retail chain. Baum has served as CEO and president of the Association of Sales and Marketing Companies and executive vice president of the Grocery Manufacturers Association.
