Experts say mental health must be part of wellness plan

Companies that offer a wellness center should assess whether the programs improve employees' quality of life, including mental health, according to Dr. Matthew Clark of the Mayo Clinic, who was part of a study that found centers may improve physical health but have limited or no effect on mental well-being. Michele Dodds of ComPsych said wellness programs should integrate physical and mental health because of the role stress plays in well-being.
