Fingertip ECG device from EPI Mobile lands FDA clearance

The FDA has cleared EPI Mobile Health Solutions to market its EPI Mini device, which uses a person's fingertip to capture electrocardiogram data and transmits that information to smartphones through Bluetooth connectivity. The device can collect ECG readings for up to five users.
