Greenway, Epic boost patient care through EHR interoperability

Epic Systems and Greenway Medical Technologies announced that interoperability between their EHR platforms has been accomplished. The interoperability initiative is expected to enhance the care delivered to maternity patients by Doctors May-Grant Associates, which leverages Greenway's EHR, and Lancaster General Health's Women & Babies Hospital, which uses Epic's EHR platform, as it enables their providers to exchange accurate and up-to-date Continuity of Care Documents. Both health care facilities are in Lancaster, Pa.
