Harris Teeter Supermarkets botched its response to fans concerned about its impending acquisition by Kroger when it posted an automated response to Facebook comments, Liz Webber writes. Many Harris Teeter fans expressed concern about service quality because of a perceived difference between Harris Teeter and Kroger. The automated, generic response further inflamed customers.
