Iowa wind farm stretching across 2 counties might expand

Marshall County, Iowa, Planning and Zoning Director John Kunc says MidAmerican Energy has expressed interest in expanding the Vienna wind farm, which has 25 turbines in the county and 20 in Tama County. Dave Thompson, chairman of the Marshall County Board of Supervisors, declined to comment on the possible expansion but said residents' reaction to wind turbines in their community has been positive.
