Jeff Zucker's early moves are helping to revive CNN

CNN President Jeff Zucker is putting his stamp on the cable news network and helping its rating turn around. Among the key changes: Anchors and other on-air talent are appearing on each others' shows more often, and they are focusing more on nonpolitical events such as natural disasters and the recent story about terrible conditions aboard a Carnival cruise line. "One of the things we've heard from Jeff is that he wants to see us broaden the definition of news," said Sam Feist, chief of CNN's D.C. bureau.
