Researchers say your "social media genotype" may predict your behavior

Researchers at the University of California, Santa Barbara, say they've found a way to predict Twitter users' behavior by categorizing them according to a "social media genotype" based on their interests. The researchers say they can predict individual users' responses to a given Twitter hashtag by studying their interests and connections on the site, a trick that might one day be of use to social media marketers.
