Storm in Caribbean forces 2 Carnival ships to change itineraries

Two ships by Carnival Cruise Lines altered their itineraries in the Caribbean to avoid Tropical Storm Chantal, which is predicted to strengthen as it takes a west-northwest path across the Caribbean islands. Carnival Victory docked at Nassau on Tuesday, cutting a scheduled day at sea, and will shift port calls between Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay and Freeport, Bahamas, today and Thursday. Carnival Liberty stopped at San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Tuesday instead of St. Thomas and will call on Grand Turk today, one day ahead of schedule.
