Survey finds travelers booking, spending more on mobile

More than 1 in 4 Internet users paid for travel-related expenses via their smartphones in the first quarter and 39% did so on tablets, according to a survey by mobile ad platform JiWire. The survey also found that 43% of respondents were willing to spend as much as $499 on travel purchases via mobile while 1 in 5 said they would spend more than $1,000.
