Suspicious stock movement declines, UK regulator says

The UK Financial Conduct Authority says about 15% of mergers last year saw suspicious share-price movement two days before the announcement. In 2011, that figure was nearly 20%. "The trend would appear to strengthen the hand of the regulator to make them continue to focus on this area until they get a consistent level of reduction," said Etay Katz of Allen & Overy.
