Yum! Brands sees signs of KFC recovery in China

Same-store sales at Yum! Brands KFC restaurants in China fell a less-than-expected 10% in June, after drops of 19% in May and 29% in June, signaling to the company that the brand is recovering from earlier issues related to avian flu scares and investigations into its chicken suppliers. Yum! operates about 6,000 eateries in China, 75% of them KFC units.
