New evidence of HRT problems for older women

A new Australian study adds to evidence that hormone replacement therapy can be harmful for women who begin it long after menopause. The study reported in the British Medical Journal shows women who begin HRT in their 60s do not get the same heart protection as do women in their 50s, at the start of menopause.
