HRT patch has lower risk of gallbladder problems than pills

A study that included about 1 million women shows hormone replacement therapy patches have a lower risk of gallbladder problems than pills. The researchers say one case of gallbladder surgery could be avoided for every 140 women who switch from pills to patches.
