Scientists' finding may help develop early quake warning

A discovery by scientists working at the San Andreas Fault in California may help create an early-warning system for earthquakes. Current warning systems provide only a few seconds' notice, but the researchers say a few subtle movements in the earth can be noted two to 10 hours before a quake. They plan more research.
