Ex-McDonald's execs to launch healthy fast-casual concept

A pair of former McDonald's executives plan to launch a new fast-casual chain focused on offering more nutritious options including steel-cut oats and pork-and-sweet-potato kabobs, Advertising Age reports. The creators of the concept, tentatively dubbed Stephanie's, also hope to help its restaurants stand out when it comes to sustainability efforts, with features such as rooftop herb gardens and fresh flowers on the tables.
