Volcker is concerned that regulatory reform wouldn't go far enough

Paul Volcker, a senior White House adviser and former chairman of the Federal Reserve, has been trying to persuade lawmakers to ensure that legislation to overhaul financial regulation would do as intended: Prevent a repeat of the financial crisis. Volcker said the bill has its strengths but is concerned that it isn't far-reaching enough.
