Zero-carbon landscaping is taking hold

More landscaping firms, such as Kenneth Baba and Sons Landscaping of Barnstable, Mass., are offering zero-carbon landscaping -- where push mowers and hand clippers replace riding mowers and chemicals. The movement could grow as homeowners become more environmentally responsible and look for ways to cut costs, said owner Ken Baba. "I see the day when landscapers will have battery chargers on their trucks instead of gas tanks," he said.
