CSR has had its moment in the sun, but it's time for businesses to move on, argues Marc Gunther. Rather than putting sustainable-business practices in a silo and then continuing business as usual, Gunther writes, firms should bake social responsibility into every part of their business. "This new way of thinking and behaving can't be left to the CSR department, the chief sustainability officer or anyone else. It's the job of the CEO, the CFO, the COO, the CMO, the head of sales, the factory foreman, product designers, everyone," he writes.
