Broadcasters vow to continue fight against Aereo

Broadcast networks are not giving up on their fight to stop the Barry Diller-backed startup Aereo from airing their copyright-protected content without licensing the material, despite a federal judge rejecting their filing for a preliminary injunction against the service. A group of plaintiffs that includes Fox, Tribune, Univision and PBS stations said the decision means "that it is O.K. to misappropriate copyrighted material and retransmit it without compensation," adding that the stations would "continue to fight to protect our copyrights and expect to prevail on appeal."
