Asigra touts new pricing option for data-backup services

Asigra, which makes disaster-recovery and backup software, is launching a new pricing approach in which users pay for data that is restored rather than how much data is backed up. "By charging based on recovery versus what [everyone] else has always done -- charge you for backup -- they are aligning the cost with the actual value," said Enterprise Strategy Group's Steve Duplessie.
