Foreclosure starts are decreasing, but some areas see sales boom

Foreclosures are steadily dropping as the economy continues its turnaround. In June, foreclosure filings were at the lowest monthly level since December 2006, according to RealtyTrac. As home prices increase, some areas, such as Florida, are seeing a flurry of bank-owned homes coming to market as banks look to take advantage of the more favorable terms and clear their rolls.
